EARLY RELEASE POLICY

"6th Hour Early Release Policy"

 Hall Pass
  • Please send a note with your child stating your child's name and time to be released.  This note should be sent to the main office PRIOR to the start of school and a pass will be issued to your child.
  • Calls for Early Release MUST be made PRIOR to 2 pm. 
  • Staff will not be calling classrooms after 2 pm.

Homework and daily in-class work may account for up to 25% of the final grade.  The remaining 75% of the final grade is to be determined on fair and equitable, multiple measures of assessments* that will permit a student to demonstrate his/her mastery level of the course's content.

* Examples of assessments may include, but are not limited to chapter tests, quizzes, projects, presentations, labs, etc.  Assessments may be of any type that will demonstrate knowledge gained.

1. The next book club meeting will be Thursday, Jan. 22nd.

2. The next Yearbook meeting will be on Jan 26th in the media center from 2:45-4:00/

3. Pasta for Pennies starts this Monday and runs until February 13th. Please donate money to the LLS during your 4th hour class. The winning class gets a lunch provided by Olive Garden.
