Student of the Month
Health Science Internship – Ms. Sonnenberg
Sterling Heights High School
We are extremely proud to announce Amanda Badri as our school building’s “Student of the Month”. Amanda is a genuine student who shows great interest in the healthcare field she’s pursuing here at CPC. She displays excellent character in and out of the classroom. St. John’s hospital staff who have had the opportunity to work with her thinks highly of her. Ms. Sonnenberg feels that this is a student who has the compassion to be an excellent future healthcare worker, and she is proud of what great teamwork Amanda demonstrates at all times.
Amanda is also a vital NTHS member. She is very involved in CPC extracurricular and NTHS activities. Amanda helped to organize and run the NTHS blood drive, in our building. She volunteers to announce our pledge in the morning on a regular basis. Ms. Sonnenberg goes on to say that this is the type of student that she can count on for any responsibility that may come up in the classroom, whether it’s helping her classmates or teacher. Amanda is a well-rounded leader, and has a wonderful future ahead of her.
30 Beer Middle School students, along with some of their staff members, visited our building Wednesday March 28th, and got first hand experience in what it’s like taking classes here at CPC. Thank you students and staff…
Creating Dynamic Futures!
Career Prep Center (CPC) is a Career & Technical Education (CTE) building, within Warren Consolidated Schools (WCS). We offer fifteen-plus high skill, high wage, high demand CTE programs within our CPC building, along with a number of additional programs housed in the three WCS traditional high schools.
While we service a small number of students from the neighboring districts, the vast majority of our students are coming to us from within our WCS district: Sterling Heights, Cousino, Warren Mott, and Community High Schools.
We are extremely proud of our students and their accomplishments throughout the year. We are also proud to service our community, parents, industry partners and other stakeholders throughout our district and extended area.
