CPC Culinary Dessert Competition

We would like to recognize the Culinary Arts Program and its Chef instructors Cindy Bushe and Jennifer Dulecki for guiding their students in placing first in the Macomb Schools Government Credit Union Dessert Competition on December 7, 2016. The participating students Kelsey Batarseh, Antoinette Jordan, Amanda Ma, Brianna McBride, Alexis Nye, Rikayla Seatts and Lidia Smith worked together as a team to provide "The Salted Caramel S'more, a petit dessert featuring a fine graham cracker bottom layered with a creamy dark chocolate cremoso, salted caramel and topped with toasted marshmallow fluff. Quoting the teachers.   "As instructors we could not be more proud of the time and countless efforts the students put in to making this dessert. Many trials, errors and meeting of the minds happened to come up with the decadent dessert."

CPC Grill Instructor Jennifer Dulecki and chef-in-training Emiliano Qoli featured on FOX 2 Cooking School.

CPC Pushes Up Awareness of Veteran Suicide with #Mission 22

“According to a VA study each day over 20 veterans take their own lives. That makes the war at home more dangerous than all the combat missions around the world.” (#Mission22)

NTHS and CPC students have joined #Mission22 and have committed to doing 22 push-ups per day to bring about awareness of veteran suicide. #Mission22 runs from October 6 – November 11. For more information or to make a donation, please call 586-825-2800. #Mission22
