Business Professionals of America (BPA)
Grand Rapids, Michigan
16 students from our Computer Programming/Game Design and Visual Imaging & Print Tech programs along with their teachers, Ms. Worde & Ms. Nunez, are competing in the BPA State Conference in Grand Rapids, this weekend.
We are extremely proud of these students, who continue to represent our building and district in a most professional way.
Have a great time and good luck in Grand Rapids!
In the wake of the tragedy of the south Florida school last month, Career Prep Center students and staffs participated in the calling for the “National School Walkout” on March 14th, for 17 minutes, beginning at 10am.
The names of the 17 students and staff who we lost one month ago were read out loud, then followed by a moment of silence. A number of students came up and spoke. They shared some powerful thoughts and ideas on what’s going on, and how we can all come together and improve.
We could not be more proud of our students for coming together and exercising their freedom of expression in a such a powerful and respectful way.
Parent/Teacher Spring Conference
We will be hosting our Parent/Teacher Spring Conferences Thursday Mar. 15th
from 2-5:30pm and 6-8pm.
Please take this great opportunity to once again stop by our building and speak with your children’s teachers regarding their time and activates here.
As always, thank you for your continued support in your children’s education, lives, and our district.
Creating Dynamic Futures!
Career Prep Center (CPC) is a Career & Technical Education (CTE) building, within Warren Consolidated Schools (WCS). We offer fifteen-plus high skill, high wage, high demand CTE programs within our CPC building, along with a number of additional programs housed in the three WCS traditional high schools.
While we service a small number of students from the neighboring districts, the vast majority of our students are coming to us from within our WCS district: Sterling Heights, Cousino, Warren Mott, and Community High Schools.
We are extremely proud of our students and their accomplishments throughout the year. We are also proud to service our community, parents, industry partners and other stakeholders throughout our district and extended area.
