Kiwanis Can Food Drive - Get in the Mood! Donate Food!

Help the Grissom Student Council fight hunger in our community.

Bring in canned and non-perishable food items to support our community during the holiday season.

Food will be collected November 17 - December 9.

The top three classes collecting the most canned goods will receive an Ice Cream Social.

Thanksgiving Break - No School - Nov. 26 - 28. School resumes on Monday, Dec. 1

Will Your School Rule? - Oakland Mall wants to put cash in your school's pocket.

"Schools will receive one point for every dollar spent at Oakland Mall.  Additional bonus points can be earned.  The school with the highest point total at the end of the program wins the grand prize, CASH!

1st Place - $ 5,000, 2nd Place - $2,500, 3rd Place - $1,250, 4th Place - $650 & 5th Place - $600

It's easy.  Shoppers simply make a purchase at any store or restaurant at Oaklnad Mall and take their receipts to the Customer Service Desk located on the lower level of the mall near J.C. Penney.

Receipts dated October 1, 2014 through March 31, 2015 are eligible for points.  Eligible stores include all stores and restaurants inside Oakland Mall plus these stores in the  parking lot:  ABC Warehouse, Chili's Grill & Bar, Henry Ford OptimEyes, Qdoba & Starbucks.

For your convenience a box is located in Grissom's office to collect original receipts which we will take in for you.

 

Grissom Student I.D. Night at Skate World of Troy from 7:30 to 11:00 p.m. on Friday, December 5.  This is not a school sponsored/supervised event.  Students must have a current Grissom student picture I.D. for free admission.
