The staff at Holden with input from parents believe that all stakeholders make a difference every day in the lives of students and each other.  We work together each day – instructional staff, support staff, clerical, custodial, community volunteers and parents to assist each student in reaching their learning goals.

The Holden staff believes that a high achieving and successful school is a place where students, staff and parents are welcomed, treated with respect and learning new interesting/relevant curriculum.  All whom enter our school are expected to be learners every day. 

Important Parent Event - Curriculum Night on September 9, 2014

Parent Information Night

Parent please make sure to attend the Holden Curriculum Night on September 9, 2014. The evening starts are 6:30 pm in the cafe with an introduction of the staff and schoolwide initiatives. Teachers will give classroom presentations at 7:00 pm and 7:30 pm.

Teachers will provide parents with information on:

  • academic expectations
  • grading procedures
  • volunteer opportunities
  • November Parent/Teacher conferences
  • field trips/holiday celebrations
  • daily classroom routines

This is an important event packed with key information all parents need to know. We look forward to seeing you!

Holden Elementary

The 6th grade students at Holden Year-Round Elementary School participated in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. The students raised $330 to be donated to the ALS Association.

Guy Louis was fabulous as he introduced musical instruments and encouraged kids to read at Holden's first assembly of the year.
