Dear MMSTC Community:

We are truly thankful for the opportunity to work with our MMSTC students, families, and friends.  In our classrooms, students inspire us, motivate us, and give us amazing hope for the future.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Sometimes it is hard.  Sometimes you will be faced with difficult choices.  You will work harder than most of your peers.  You will have more homework.  You will think about giving up. You will think about ignoring things you know are wrong.  But think about this. Bill Gates' first business failed. Thomas Edison failed over 1000 times before finally creating the lightbulb. Walt Disney was fired from a newspaper because he lacked creativity. Stephen Speilberg was rejected by the college of his choice...twice.  Martin Luther King Jr. did not always make popular choices.  Benjamin Franklin's family could not afford to keep him in school past the age of 10.  Bethany Hamilton got her arm bitten off by a shark. Stephen King's first scary novel CARRIE, was rejected 30 times by publishers. Oprah was abused as a child.

YOU WILL FACE OBSTACLES.  YOU WILL FAIL. But, it is how YOU RESPOND to these setbacks that WILL SET YOU APART.  So, think about this.  What will YOU do when things get tough? When you feel frustrated.  Will you quit? Will you give in? Will you give up?  .....Or will you

A note about bullying and intimidation...

NOT IN OUR FAMILY!!  We are completely dedicated to keeping our school free from any intolerant behavior or intimidation.  We are a community of learners, thinkers, problem-solvers, and collaborators.

We use our powers for good.  ALL of us must support every member of our school community.

If you are a witness to or if you are ever bullied, speak out!  Tell a teacher, tell a counselor, or tell Dr. Neuhoff.

The government has a site,  OK2SAY (Linked) to report issues and situations as well.

What's Happening at MMSTC

Halloween at MMSTC

Its sooooo scary!

Freshman Homecoming

Sophomores school the Freshman in Football.  But this year's Freshman Band was the best of all time.

 Sophomore Camp

Sophomores enjoy a fun and relaxing day of team building, getting to themselves, their teachers and their peers a little bit better

Students took a break from the books, computers, and calculators for the last 30 minutes of  each session.  Some students went for the gold and ran and jogged the entire time.  Others, enjoyed the beautiful outdoors with a leisurely stroll.  Thank you to our PTO and all of our parents and students for supporting the Butcher Educational Center.

 Home School Spirit Days

We find an interesting mix of students in our classes during September and October as students dress to show their pride and spirit for their home schools

 Capture the Flag

Annotated Bibliographies, College Scholarships, College Essays, Personal Records, Resumes, and ....CAPTURE THE FLAG!! Phew!  Finally... a much needed, tension relieving break!  Who won?  Rumors say RED, but others say BLUE. You may have to ask a senior!
