(MS)2TC Family Science Night January 12Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum

 

District families are invited to a FREE Family Science Night sponsored by the (MS)2TC program on Thursday, January 12, from 6:30-8:30 pm. The Ann Arbor Hands-On Museum will be on location at Butcher Educational Center offering families the opportunity to awaken curiosity, stimulate observation and exploration skills, and enhance science skills, through hands-on activities. Don’t miss this fun family night out.

National Bullying Prevention Month

National Bullying Prevention Month comes to a close at Butcher by revealing the winners of our ANTI BULLYING poster and poem contest. Many thanks to all students who participated in this year’s contest. All of the submissions were amazing and fully incorporated the bullying awareness theme. The winning pieces will be made into a t-shirt and 100% of the profits will go to bully prevention organization of the winners’ choosing. This year’s winners are 7th graders Andrew Hemstreet and Matthew White. Congratulations, students! Andrew’s poster will be on the front of the t-shirt and Matthew’s poem will be on the back of the t-shirt. T-shirt sales will occur during parent/teacher conferences and throughout the month of December.
