MS-VPA Website

WCSPA is a 2 credit class.  Students receive the following graduation credit in their first year:  1 (elective) credit for Visual or Performing Arts and .5 credit of Physical Education.  Students coming back for a 2nd year have an additional 1 credit of a foreign language competency.

WCSPA has a limited number of openings each year.  Auditions are held once each Spring for admission for the following Academic School Year.

Any student wishing to be accepted into WCSPA must complete an audition process. Not everyone that completes this admissions process will be admitted, and acceptance into the program is primarily based on a student's audition. A student's academic record, attendance, and behavior may also be taken into consideration when selecting students for the program. In addition to performers, WCSPA is also interested in students that are interested in technical, design, and production work.

Anyone that completes the audition process will receive a letter of acceptance or denial in the mail, approximately 3 weeks after their audition. Students accepted can then bring that letter to their counselour to change their schedule.

Students will not receive feedback, scores or evaluation on their auditions. Students not accepted may re-apply the next year if they choose.
